Iberian-American Tobacco Trade Fair

The I Tobacco Industry Trade FairTobacco Trade Fair is born with the goal of being the first meeting point of all companies involved in the tobacco industry in South Europe.

For purely professional, the purpose of the Fair aims to bring together an excellent, modern and easily accessible framework to all national and international companiesenhance business initiatives, strategies and relationships within a global market.

The world fair has now a good representation as to the tobacco sector (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, United States, India and Indonesia). However, we have note that in Southern Europe there is a total emptiness in this regard. Spain is a country that because of tobacco tradition and the proximity and affinity with the countries Latin American (one of the largest producers in the world) has great potential to develop a trade fair with total success.

Spain is the third largest tobacco grower in the European Union. It is estimated that 48,000 thousand people live directly from tobacco in the 16,000 tobacconists that exist in Spain, and over 20,000 families from tobacco growing. The annual billing from the tobacconists is around 8,000 million, which mainly relate to the cigarettes and cigars sales.

Hundreds of years of tobacco history of, both for business or social use and human relation, are compelling reasons, which should unite within a legal framework to put the tobacco industry at the place that deserves for its own right. I Tobacco Industry Trade Fair offers all the first chance, the first step to a common horizon, better and more standardized.

A huge fair, modern, present and with future projection. This requires that this first step have to be carried out with firmness, professionalism and enthusiasm and it is necessary and essential collaboration and participation of all companies, agencies and associations involved.

The initial effort is common, but we believe it is worthwhile if we haveconfidence across the sector. We are and we hope to be for many years, inservice.
